What We Believe
We believe in the one and only true God who exists in three equal persons, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is God's living word written by the hands of ordinary men through the inspiration of the extraordinary Spirit of God. It provides absolute truth, wisdom, guidance, and instruction.
When sin entered the world there was a separation that occurred between God and man. In God's great mercy and grace, He chose to send His only son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for that sin. When we choose to believe in Jesus' sacrifice and confess that He is Lord, we will be saved for all eternity and our relationship with God is restored forever.
There are two ordinances that we observe: The Lord's Supper, and Baptism. The Lord's Supper is a time where we reflect upon the body of our Savior which was broken and His blood being shed for us so that we never forget His great sacrifice. We also believe that each believer should be baptized by immersion. This is a symbolic act of obedience showing that we have been buried with Christ and we are now living a new life in Him.
For those who choose to accept Jesus as their Savior, the Bible promises us that we will spend forever with the Lord in a place where there is no more pain or sickness or death. We do not know when our last day will be on this earth, but we believe that when we close our eyes in this life for the last time we will open them in the presence of God.
